Ch’town Zine Fest (CZF) is Charlottetown, PEI’s first annual zine fair and celebration of DIY publishing.
CZF was founded in 2022 by Jordan Beaulieu and Evan Furness in order to support and promote local artistic publishing practices. It includes a tabling fair, held annually in early November at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre, and a coinciding series of free events, such as instructive workshops. CZF is an independent project that collaborates with local venues and organizations.
CZF collects and archives local DIY publications as the Ch’town Zine Library. Over 40 new titles were acquired from fair participants in 2024. The library is on permanent public display at this town is small.
